The Low Down

What is required to book?

We take our commitments to you seriously! We require a contract which lays out all details along with a $35 non-refundable/non-transferable booking fee to secure your date.

All Wedding dates are first come first served.  Scheduling a trial does not hold your wedding date. While we do our best to let brides know if we are contacted for a conflicting wedding,  we        cannot make any gaurantees. WE DO NOT HOLD WEDDING DATES WITH OUT A SIGNED CONTRACT.

Do we charge a travel fee?

In most cases no, your $35 reservation fee covers our travel costs. If our team is driving farther than 45 minutes outside of Royal Oak, you may be responsible for an additional fee. This will be discussed prior to signing our contract.

Bridal Preview

We offer bridal trials in our professional studio located in downtown Royal Oak. Our licensed artists will meet with you for an hour long appointment where they will discuss your desired look and the steps needed to achieve it. We ask that you show up in white if you are having a makeup trial done. Wearing dark colors greatly impacts the way we see colors on our skin. Soft and natural makeup looks disappear when wearing dark clothes yet enhance natural beauty when paired with white and skin tones. Full glam looks tend to look toned down when wearing dark, but will appear much more dramatic next to white or bare skin.

How do we pay for our services?

In order to maintain a stress fee experience for our brides and their entourage, we will now be requiring that all services be paid in full two weeks prior to your wedding date. We take cash, check, or card (with a 4% service fee) Each one of our brides is given access to their customized portal where all payments can be made. Wedding days tend to be chaotic and we want things to run as smoothly as possible.

Should we wash our hair?

The answer is yes! We always recommend that anyone getting any formal styling done to have freshly washed and DRIED hair. We cannot hide excessive oil in the hair and it actually makes it harder to style.

Do we provide touch up kits?

In an effort to keep our prices affordable we do not provide any touch up kits for the day of. We recommend that the bride have a lipstick or gloss that can be used for touch ups throughout the day.
